FAQ
Questions, answered
Why does my dog wear a life vest?
Real surf dogs always wear one, so ours do too in the scenes on the water. On the beach your dog wears a flower lei instead.
Can my cat go surfing too?
Yes. The scenes work for any pet; this page just shows them with a dog.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can paint two pictures a day without an account or a card. We make money from optional printed products like the calendar.
Will it look like my pet?
It's painted from your one photo, so it looks like your pet, though markings can be off. For closer likeness, the free photo week reads your pet's breed, coat and markings from several photos and checks every photo against them.
What happens to my photo?
We use it only to paint your picture and delete both your photo and the painting after a day. Photos with people in them aren't painted.
Which pets can I use?
Dogs, cats, rabbits and most other pets. Use a photo with only one animal in it.
